One of the current days' famous trekking route of Nepal, Everest base camp (EBC) trek is situated at the altitude of 5,364 meters (17,598 ft) and is the way to highest peak of the world; Mount Everest. Located on the foot of Khumbu glacier Everest base camp is the dream destination for many mountaineers, trekkers and adventure loving souls.
Being the base camp of the world's tallest mountain the trek here is not daunting as it sounds unless you've got altitude sickness. It does take some time to acclimatize to reach the base camp but after you've conquered all the obstacles on the way you're welcomed with a beautiful mesmerizing views. Below images are of south base camp of the Everest which lies in Nepal and it has another base camp on north side in Tibet too.
On the way to the beautiful trekking track, you will encounter rivers, bridges, amazing views of Mountains and you will be accompanied with mountain yaks and smiling and helpful faces of Sherpas all way long. Don't forget to take a sip of their butter tea with the Sherpas on the way to the camp, if you ever visit this track.
